Are you ready for Britain’s Got Talent this weekend?

Friday, May 6, 2011 · 0 comments
It’s nearly the weekend, which means it’s nearly time for Britain’s Got Talent. Hoorah!

It’s the fourth week of auditions, and tomorrow night’s episode promises to be as gob-smackingly bizarre, hilarious and uniquely entertaining as ever.

We’ve got a sneak preview of two of the acts: Angela and Teddy are a wonderfully chaotic dog act, while young Nathan does something quite original, not to mention artistic, with toast.

We’ll be tuning in (and tweeting along, so do join us at www.twitter.com/heatworld ), but will you?

Britain’s Got Talent, Saturday on ITV at 8pm

She’s the proud mommy of a beautiful baby boy, and yesterday (May 5) Jane Krakowski was spotted out in New York City with her newborn.

The “30 Rock” babe looked lovely as she pushed Bennett Godley’s stroller around Manhattan while shutterbugs and fans took note.

Jane gave birth to Bennett on April 13th and she and her fiance Robert Godley couldn’t be happier parents.

Shortly after the birth, Jane told press, “Bennett is an amazing, healthy sweet boy and we are both just crazy in love with him.”

Kendra Wilkinson: NYC Hotel Hottie

Enjoying some time on the East Coast, Kendra Wilkinson was spotted arriving at a swanky hotel in New York City yesterday (May 5).

The “Girls Next Door” dame carried a grocery bag full of mysterious wires as she strolled passed the paparazzi and headed inside.

“I had to claim it because I didn’t want to just stand there and everyone go ‘whew,’ that would have been so much more embarrassing if everyone was like ‘Ugh, Kendra farted’ but no, I had to claim it. I had to claim it, I’m sorry. That looked better at the end of the day.”

She also noted that elimination night was a hard one for her, even though she loves being back full time with her hubby and son.

“It was actually bittersweet. Before I was voted off I saw my son for 30 minutes and he came to me with my husband (NFL player Hank Baskett) and I got a chance to color with them and hang out with them, and when he left I just started crying. It was so hard to say goodbye to him, and that was before I knew I was getting voted off. But it is cool because now I get to color with my son and see my son a lot more.”

Angelina Jolie Talks Voice Issues

She voices the character Master Tigress in “Kung Fu Panda 2” but Angelina Jolie says she actually hates the sound of her own voice.
The “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” actress told press, “You know, when you hear your own voice, you can find it quite boring and uninteresting.”
Ang continued, “Suddenly you get very shy that your voice is not enough, because I”m not musical and I don’t know my voice.”
Meanwhile, Jolie had a great time working with Jack Black on the gig. "I was crazy about him. I had seen him in everything he'd done, but what I really knew him for was music. I don't have musical talent, so I always thought it was really cool that he could be an actor to a lot of us but equally a rock star."

Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards: Winners and Gallery

Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards: Winners and Gallery On Saturday, Nickelodeon's 2011 Kids Choice Awards / AKA Little Lolita Parade took place in L.A. May I present exhibits A, B, C , D, E and the ludicrously unachievable F. OK, so none of them are as bad as this, or this, but they make me feel a bit fearfull for them all the same. After all, look who they have to look up to - sex tape stars in the form of Paris Hilton and a horny milk maid; barely formed full time performers; pioneer of female empowerment Snoop Dogg; Melanie Brown; a stick insect; the vampire mermaid from planet Harpie; 38-year-old Josh Duhamel masquerading as a Ken doll; and a well-documented sex pest. He's not having a fit, more trying to communicate to the perplexed assembled that he's the gentleman what voiced that bunny from Hop - as opposed to air humping a photo of Katy Perry he produced from his wallet.

Yeah, so thank God for the presence of Jane Lynch, Stevie Wonder and - I never thought I'd say this - Miley Cyrus. True, arbitary Kardashian also had a classy dress on, but Miley actually also has a talent so that makes her the winner.

Those also in attendence included Heidi Klum, Sofia Vergara, Mr. Carey, Selena Gomez, and increasingly burnt umber-hued Pixie Lott; and Joe Jonas in the company of a liddlar Jonas who, somehow, also looks like a middle aged member of Bon Jovi...

Breaking Dawn: If Eclipse Director Was in Charge

Saturday, December 4, 2010 · 0 comments
Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Twilight, Eclipse Edward and Bella making out on the beach.
We could only imagine what they would have been doing if Eclipse director David Slade had been hired for Breaking Dawn, too...
FOLLOW: Marc Malkin on Twitter & Facebook
"I would have probably gone after it," Slade says of racier scenes in the final installment of the Twilight franchise. "I'm kind of fairly tenacious that way.
"I'd have probably done a special red band version if it were up to me," he laughed. "But no, poor ole Bill Condon has that task."
As for Eclipse (out on DVD tomorrow), Slade did reveal that there was some chatter of turning it into a 3-D flick. But the talks didn't get very far.
"There was talk of a conversion, but it was really idle talk," he explained. "I think it's really difficult to justify converting a film that wasn't shot in 3-D into 3-D. I really do believe, as does James Cameron and all the people who are actually pro-3-D, that you have to go out and shoot it that way. You have nothing but compromise if you don't."
So much for Robert Pattinson jumping off the screen and into your lap.
